Commuter Rail Operations - Development, Planning and Restoration

• Operations Analyst / Planner for MBTA during buyouts of New Haven Railroad, Penn Central, Boston and Albany, Boston and Maine Railroads. 
• As a Planner, participated in Restoration and Expansion of Commuter Rail Services to over 100 communities.
• Chairman of Transportation Studies for the I-495 Intiative to expand Mass Transit in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire.

Light Rail and Rapid Transit Vehicles

• Light Rail Operational Planning for the MBTA including Supervision of Rail Operations. 
• As an Operations Analyst, team member of Rapid Transit Expansion of Services.

Local and Regional Bus Services

• Worked with more than three dozen private bus operators and public transit to coordinate services.

Interstate Bus Services

• Worked as a Supervisor for Trailways of New England including Safeway, Trailways, Virginial Trailways and coordinated service with  Carolina Trailways.  Complexities included different operating divisions, employee unions and shared equipment with a goal of providing direct, efficient, fast and safe transportation.  With this arrangement, Trailways provided non-stop express interstate service and regional connecting local bus services.  Predictive analysis ensured resources were accurately placed and patrons were accomodated.

School Bus Operations

• Routing and Scheduling Coordination Improvements reduced costs and achieved maximum equipment utilization for communities.
• Developed Safety Programs and Supervised Operations for School Districts and Private Operators.

Airport Services / Ground Transportation

• Military and Civilian Operational Planning Experience. Passenger Transportation Specialist for the Massachusetts Air National Guard.  National Defense Executive Reservist - U.S. Department of Transportation.
• Owned Airport Ground Transportation Service company which provided passenger, luggage and miscellaneous deliveries to and from several airports.
